Sharing is caring!

Description

I actually like to ask my kids what they want to be when they grow up. I think it promotes imagination. It was fun to see how their choices changed over the years. I might have to pay for some extensive counseling because it’s now listed as one of the top 10 worst questions you can ask your kids. Ooops.

*Experts* suggest we ask our children instead, What problems do you want to solve?

There is always room for growth and expanding how we think! I’m a big proponent of when we know better, we do better. I’ll see if I can improve for grandchildren…

Maybe their ideal job hasn’t been invented yet.

Apparently, you can’t really be a super hero. (I might argue with this one)

I’m more than *just* a teacher – in fact, that was quite a difficult lesson when my contract was not renewed in 2019. Placing all our identities into a career might not be ideal. Work is what we do, not who we are.

It’s ok to have more than one career. Brainstorm MANY interests and possibilities!
