The Battles of Lexington and Concord Summary

Sharing is caring!

Use The  Battles of Lexington and Concord Activity Pack to introduce your Revolutionary War studies or to simply give a brief overview of the events of April 18th and 19th 1775. This is a simple summary of the battles of Lexington and Concord. It describes how the Patriot Militia hid their military stores. Learners also find out how no one really knows who fired that fateful “shot heard round the world”.

This Activity is to celebrate Patriots’ Day – the Third Monday in April not as a comprehensive Revolutionary War introduction 🙂

In this battles of Lexington and Concord Summary, you receive a link to the Google Slide presentation, and a Printable Companion Worksheet for learners to follow along and take notes.

I have also included a link to an Exclusive  Homeschool Holiday video of Mrs. Crabtree guiding learners through the presentation if you would like to use that. This version contains cute sound effects learners find amusing. It is PERFECT for students who are absent or out of the room, or to use as a center activity!

As a BONUS this Patriots’Day activity contains our Battles of Lexington and Concord Timeline – NO NEED TO PURCHASE IT SEPERATELY 🙂

Finally, The Activity Pack includes a set of Coloring Pages that provide learners with the perfect summary of the battles of Lexington and Concord.

If you would like JUST THE TIMELINE, That is available HERE
